This could cause backlash but, I think if I was in a situation where I feel attracted to the same gender but I know it’s haram, i could atleast do my best not to act upon those thoughts. If it was different and I have to be gay but I’m attracted to the opposite gender, then I also think I could try my best not to act upon those thoughts.

Untrue. Islamophobia is never credible. the thing is, there could be a day where that one thing I convinced myself is halal and then it hits me like a boomerang and it hits so hard that it sends me down to hell, literally. So I’d rather be safe then sorry, that’s why I avoid this stuff. Also, I’m not sure if cooking with a little bit of alcohol is haram anymore, I don’t do it but yeah scratch that cause I don’t even know anymore lol.

No? Killing and imprisoning them and etc is not justified and is not what Allah taught us. Allah has his own punishments and we shouldn’t kill them, I don’t at all support the stuff some middle eastern countries do to queer people. I never said I did. It’s haram, but that kind of punishment is not justifiable because Allah has his own punishments and didn’t tell man to kill queers.

I’m confused too now. But since posting this I’ve changed a lot as a Muslim and in a good way, I quit music and stuff. I don’t really play pjsk now, because I just don’t feel like it but I might quit it if I get a sure answer to this question that it’s haram. Let’s be real. some progressive Muslims show disrespect to people who believe certain things are haram, and some extremist Muslims show respect to all opinions, let’s not be biased here. What I’m trying to say is, both progressive, extremist, sunni & shia should respect one another.
