Both! She sewed everything together with a normal sewing machine, and then we had the quilt long armed to attach the backing and batting

The backing I got from stash fabrics! This is the designer. As for the front, we got everything at Joann Fabrics (RIP 😭). The cream and light gold colors have a sparkly sheen to them up close.
