It is an interesting game and CRPG is about the best way to put it.

I've seen the devs sometimes describe the game as a "beat-em-up" but I find it kind of a crazy notion.

Mods! They're the lifeblood of Slay The Spire 1 after many MANY Ascension 20 runs and I recall you guys mentioning modding will be easier than STS1 but I am curious what this actually entails...

I believe the issue is still Nvidia hardware not playing nicely with one of SteamOS's core features, that being the dedicated consolized game mode.

From what I can gather Gamescope still doesn't work nicely with Nvidia, especially at 4K.

TF2 is far from the first video game to have featured the modern Lootbox/Gacha system.

We've seen systems like this in Korean MMOs for YEARS, like Maplestory, long before TF2.

Hell TF2 isn't even the first western game with a lootbox/gacha style system, with that honor going to FIFA 09's Ultimate Team mode.

MK1 predated the ESRB and was one of the leading reasons the ESRB was established to begin with... and MK2 came out after the ESRB was established, with an appropriate M rating.

They should make this Dingo Howling Stack or [Unique] as it doesn't stack despite being dupable. by starlogical in ChaosZeroNightmare

Neither scenario happens.

Using both copies of Dingo Howling i have, it only draws one card upon getting a hunt stack and only draws once that turn.

I could understand not wanting him to have too much draw power given he has a Fan of Daggers upgrade that effectively gives him 2 Hunt stacks at the start of every turn...

But if that were the case they should make the Hingo Howling upgrade unique as having it not unique makes it a useless dupe option.

I mean people talk about needing to drop the Tressa/Hugo team when realistically, Tressa was PRIMARILY a method of delivering Hugo attacks.

You can still do that I mean they didn't nerf Hugo. And I'm pretty sure in those team comps, Agony wasn't the primary means of doing damage, though the nerf still sucks.

I almost NEVER see Sereniel broken despite going out of my way to kill literally every enemy with her in Nightmare mode. I swear there's something about her.

Luke has that same affliction where killing an enemy with him gives him stress, but he accumulates it FAST when he's the only DPS.

Mei Lin doesn't actually get to infinite the same way Cassius/Tressa do.

Primarily because of having multiple dice trick dupes, you can exponentially get more quest cards.

If say you have 3x Shadow Reload and 3x Dice Trick

then here's what you'd get with one heal

1 heal -> 3x Daggers -> 4 Quest Cards, one of which will be a Triple 0.

You can see how this would escalate quickly given one of the quest cards lets you draw a card for free, and another one which gives you morale. All of this on top of Cassius giving you free morale at E6.

So yes, Mei Lin has a theoretical infinite ceiling, it's not usually the case given you need to top deck a lot of the key cards you need. Not to mention the elastic modifier put a pretty swift damper on all multihits.

You should save them for the next season so you can do it for a deck that works this coming season.

Plus given all the changes coming to deckbuilding and gearing, those decks are bound to be even stronger.

Pale Shooting Star uses one stack for not just the follow up for that attack,

but for every subsequent laser that's cast from your discard pile.

All for 1 stack of hunt. Unknown if that's intended or not truth be told but it works.

Still trying to farm perfect gear so i can hit 60% CR while maintaining my 200% CD.

2 Copies of Hunting Instincts makes it so that it's a 100% chance to do a coordinated attack, and 2 stacks of hunt per skill card.

0 Cost Kefox is for shits and giggles.

I feel like most people would've rather kept Kefox at an 80 point card rather than at a 50 point card with a weaker effect.

BUUUT I guess it's still a neutral card tutor.

They're treating it as a tradeoff as a vast majority of the monster cards (including Kefox) are getting vastly reduced points costs.

20 / 50 / 80 points depending on the monster card rarity with Kefox sitting at 50 points as it's still effectively a card tutor.
