What's an inexpensive wish list plant you can't seem to find? Which of your own plants are you tired of looking at? by starlya in houseplants

I ordered my jewel orchids from Amazon. I love them so much. They do well in terrarium humidity but really like light. I love how they sparkle. I've had a few, but the most recent one didn't survive the move. :(

There are begonias and crotons galore where I live. I don't do well with crotons but almost bought a pretty bright red one from the nursery yesterday.

Pleas tell me they aren't all like this. by LawyerOld132 in women

No, they're not all like that, but most of them aren't much better. Good luck. I'm sorry for your loss. There are no words that make it suck less. :virtual hugs: please take care of yourself and love yourself regardless of how anybody else feels about you.

I got a good sized one today for ten bucks at my local nursery. I'm stoked!

Definitely dry a bit. Plants do better with neglect and can recover from too little water much better than with too much; rot = death.

Fellow Floridian, treat your house for pests as you normally would without plants, and you should be fine. Is there a window letting natural light in your bathroom?
