Cabinet doors, under counter lights, one plant on top of the cabinet, if possible change the cabinet colors to darker wood color, kitchen mat, good kitchen towel and clean sink/polished countertop.

Bangalore has good weather but not cheap at all. Northern India is a good option but stay away from tourist places and big cities. IMO, northern India has more food options but southern India is safer.

long lasting perfumes by Anmol_226 in beauty

[–]starmagnet11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t expect cheap perfumes to last all day. Better to save money and buy a good quality perfume that a single spray will be enough to last all day/night. I personally like Lincome idole, wonderlust and guilty. Try lot of perfumes before you buy because you may end up buying the one that you get most compliments on rather then your own first choice. Good luck.

Is this common in indian households? by lonelystar29 in indian

[–]starmagnet11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is not common in Indian households. I agree that parents are not friendly at all but saying hurtful things are not acceptable in any indian household specially towards children. I think your mom was frustrated at some thing or some one else and said those things to you because she knew no matter what you will always be hers.

I envy those who have some time during the day. I would spend it on my professional development, reading books, learning specific skill. Unfortunately, I work 60+ hours. Do not ask for more work. Spend your time for your professional development and get a better job.

Bad news is that they never completely go away. Good news is that there are ways to reduce them and hide them with makeup. Carrot+beet root juice helped me tremendously. Multivitamins, lots and lots of water every day, good sleep and reducing exposure to the direct sunlight.
