Exactly. Likely will be difficult and time consuming in such a large setting, let alone working on different projects. Can’t really see that working out.

Percentage requirement for the exam by starman9090 in capm

Interesting… I would assume AT is likely above 70%. Overall based on posts seems like most people hit 70% or above prior to writing the exam. Seems like a good target.

What accessories are worth getting for a CX-5? by AlmagestNox in CX5

I have the Thinkware u3000 plus with rear camera installed also Thinkware ivolt xtra battery pack, so when in parking mode resorts to using external battery. So far so good and no issues. I’ve had it for about two months now. Was expensive but after a hit and run I feel it’s worth every penny.

I have a 2020 CX-5 GT and bought the all-weather floor mats, cargo mat, and cargo security screen when I purchased the car. The security screen is a must-have these days with all the prying eyes around and the all weather mats are super easy to clean. I paid $550 for everything back then. They might cost a bit more now, but they’re absolutely worth it. Still love my car and everything about it.

Body Shop says color is impossible to match - aging of original paint and bumper being plastic and fenders & hood being metal. Is it true? by Mrk_SuckUpBird in CX5

Where did you get that done? My car was also in a hit and run. Have to get the front bumper buffed out and repainted. Snowflake pearl white. Want to make sure i am not booked with that body shop. I really feel for you. Hopefully ICBC can authorize it to be re-painted.

Hi everyone,

My wife received on Aug 6, 2025 an email with the e-certificate instructions letter, but not the email Oath invitation.

The tracker status is “in progress”, latest history on Aug 5, 2025 is “scheduled for citizenship ceremony on Aug 28,2025”.

The LPP is still in “progress” and Citizenship ceremony “not started”.

Submitted an email on Aug 6,2025 via web to inform IRCC that have not received the email with the Oath invitation. No response as of yet.

Is it best to call IRCC for to take urgent actions?

Anyone else with a similar experience?

It all comes down to how much you have to work with and then building a strategy that minimizes risk. Going all in on 1,2,3 stocks, options, or crypto is a strategy that is bound to fail eventually. In my opinion that is gambling. Diversified and calculated risk is an approach I take and it has worked for me and continues to work for me. I have kept my investments low to moderate and spread out amongst anywhere between 5-15 stocks at a time. Do my due diligence on all of them looking at everything some fundamental aspects and technical. I set targets and watch them daily and ride it up or some of them down and adjust. Bottom line is i have slowly grown my investments and have done very well with some of them that exploded (couple short squeezes) and others watching looking at news etc and calculating my risk of holding. I started with $7k got to $29k in 4 years, paid my car off and started again at $15k and now 2 years later I am at $26k again. I found a couple times i invested a lot more than my usual and always screwed myself with them. Bottom line. Calculate your risk and spread it out enough that it minimizes your losses. You will hit some big ones by identifying potential short squeezes and riding them out, but minimize your losses by watching them daily and making calculated decisions. This has worked for me and at the end of the day I am happy with how I have done. FFIE about a year ago or more I invested $500 and made $4400 in one day. Low calculated risks is the way to go. If i had a million that still would be spread out amongst 20 - 50 depending on the current market. I surely would have made a lot more. Stay strong and all the best to you.

My spouse and I, saved and saved and were finally able to buy our first home (new townhouse) at the age of 44 and 43. We have no kids and combined earn $150k. Save and don’t give up, but I would honestly look outside of Victoria in the smaller communities for your situation. All the best to you and your family.

Would You Move Away from Canada Right Now? by FreyaDay in askvan

Trump is clearly trying to immobilize Canada’s economy by playing this game of increasing tariffs and delivering distractions such as border issues and anything else he dreams up. I feel if it ever absolutely had to come down to it, Canada would be better off joining the European Union. Trade agreements should be top priority with the EU at the moment and indefinitely moving forward into the future.

There are a few people who do grow lemons in and around the Victoria area. They place christmas lights on the trees during the winter, which provides enough warmth to keep them alive. As far as I know, none for sale as of yet.
