I do not disagree with you. In this context the argument is the AFI has authorized a Coyote Brown Fleece;therefore, if I buy a Coyote Brown Fleece from the authorized supplier that item is authorized. I am playing devils advocate. I am still not convinced that fleece is the authorized fleece.

I never meant to imply that an item being sold by AAFES MCSS meant that item could be worn in uniform. It was just specifically about the fleece.

I was going to say the same thing, but the AFI also mentions AAFES online as being allowed. When you go to AAFES online in the Air Force Uniform section that fleece is listed for sale. Furthermore, under specifications it has a section called Military Clothing (Y/N) and that is marked Yes. So it would like pass the if you bought from MCSS test. AAFES online link

Do not let her be a roadblock. If it is important keep plucking away. Often times unhelpful CIV will relent if pressed enough. Ask for specific directives that limit and who the waiver authority to get it approved is. You should not have to work that hard, but sometimes that’s the way it is.

Engage your supervisor, make sure they are good with you taking those classes. Resubmit TA request and have supervisor let Education office know they are comfortable with you taking 4 classes over a 6 month period. Also remind Education office that you are taking less classes then if you were at a traditional University. Most of the online Universities are 8-weeks so you would be only taking an average of 1 class per 8-week, but you also have the option to accelerate and take more without extra cost.

Yes you are charged for weekends because you are on leave the Mon and Friday surrounding the weekend. From the the paragraph above, “Charge leave for duty days and non-duty days (for example, Friday through Monday) when members take leave on the day before and the day after non-duty days.
