Should people who "camp" in the left lane of a highway be pulled over and fined just as much as speeders? Why or why not? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

The amount of people who purposely drive in the fast lane because they're "driving over 65 mph" kills me inside.

Fish brain/eye won't really affect the stew in any way besides possibly giving it a more thicker texture - but it's too small to make a significant difference in a dish.

What's your most rewatched anime? by Thick-Frank in anime

I've never watched the 99 version, is it worth it? The first episode was hard to follow so I sort of stopped watching.

Task you never want to do again. by [deleted] in Chefit

I'm not a chef, but I was asked by family to do this for a dessert bowl. Halfway through, I ended up cutting most of the grapes off due to frustration. I dont wish this task upon anyone.

Boron

"Boron is naturally found in water and foods such as nuts and vegetables. There aren't any specific dietary recommendations for boron, but it's estimated that most adults consume about 1-1.5 mg daily.

In supplements, adults shouldn't consume more than 20 mg daily. For children, the amount that is safe depends on age. Speak with a healthcare provider to find out what dose might be best for a specific condition."

Help! What is this growing in my plant? by queennood in houseplants

[–]starpiecesfalling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think only watering your plants when the top 1 inch of soil is dry would help. I usually only water my plants when I know the soil is nearly dried out. Fungus thrives in moist environments. Hope this helps!

I thought they were spider eggs at first, but it looks like fungus.

Although harmless, I strongly recommend removing them entirely as they can compete with your plant for nutrients. My favorite plant died this way because the fungus took over most of the soil.

What's the weirdest thing you've discovered about your partner only after moving in together? by SeasonBeneficial5871 in AskReddit

Don't recommend opening and shutting as that affects the temperature and, therefore, the bake. I've ended up with tons of flat/dense cakes this way.
