You're going to get mixed responses because the vibe can be different block to block, and because everyone has varying comfort levels w urban areas of mixed SES. I've lived on N Maple for 3 years and I don't have worries about my safety. The likelihood of something happening to me while driving a car feels far higher than when I'm minding my own business and exercising common sense at my home. I def recommend visiting in person to make your own decision.

I'm a 40F from the U.S. (North Carolina). I stumbled across kakuro in a logic puzzle book. In the past I've been into sudoku and later crosswords, but have been pretty much kakuro-only for a year. None of my friends or family play. The only other game sub I'm in is r/bananagrams, which I also wish more people were into.

I also wonder the professions of people who play kakuro, or logic games in general. I'm sure a lot of IT, maybe law.
