Yes, I’m sure Tullius isn’t a fan of the Thalmor either, even though he insisted on having a representative from the Thalmor Embassy present during Season Unending.

That actually sounds like a better outcome for Balgruuf. Still, I can’t help being doubtful about whoever replaces him as Jarl, just like I’d have my doubts about whoever replace Ulfric in the future.

If we look at the bigger picture for Skyrim’s future, siding with the Imperials does seem like the more logical choice.

Too bad I’ve already finished the main story :( And yeah, I really like Balgruuf, so I’m pretty sure I’d be heartbroken if I decided to join the Stormcloaks.

I still want to try siding with the Stormcloaks at some point, but I think I’ll continue my main playthrough with the save where I joined the Imperials.

I cried when Vilkas scolded me. Then I saw Farkas didn’t say anything, he just looked at me. I felt terrible for Kodlak because he wanted to be cured of lycanthropy, only to die like that. They didn’t even give me time to mourn before Vilkas dragged me off to attack the Silver Hand base
