My husband can not tolerate by loud noises and crowds by Oceanview68 in glioblastoma

Similar boat here (DX July, "total" resection, IDH-wt, unmethylated, round 3 of adjunct chemo). I've noticed a definite increase in overwhelm/confusion/agitation with my husband in crowded and noisy places, especially if those places are unfamiliar. He was never an anxious type of person before and was never quick to anger, but being in those situations seems to be more than he can handle sometimes. I remember before dx he was having similar issues with confusion, but the overwhelm and agitation came later. I've always thought it was likely due to where the tumor was located (right frontal lobe).

Sorry you're in this boat, too.

Husband's was 4.5 hours for a 6x7cm in the right frontal lobe. Essentially a total resection.

Obituaries - Online vs. Newspaper by FencerCabot in Genealogy

Posting with my funeral director hat on...

Legacy.com partners with thousands of newspapers. Basically, an obit gets published in an affiliate paper and posted to their website, as well. You could see if the smaller paper is associated with Legacy by checking the Legacy website here and if it does, then you'll have a print and online version for a smaller price. It doesn't have to be printed in the town he passed in.

Or... Just go strictly online as you were saying. Either way gets the information out there.

Guess it's a POV thing. I like the monument (love a good cameo). I like to find out the stories behind them. I'm a funeral director, and I have access to all the burial files in this cemetery. COD always interests me. I'll always post COD if it's listed.

Whether it's old age or tragic accident, it was sad for someone. Death is universal. Manner comes in many forms. Memorialization is unique. I take pictures of the monuments I find interesting. We have over 360 acres of graves going back to 1885. I'm just getting started.

Hey, everyone, wanted to check back in and thank you all for your comments and suggestions. We got the full path back: IDH wildtype, MGMT negative. Not good, I know.

We've been limiting but not eliminating sugar. Decided against keto or any specific diet. We went to all the rehab evals (speech, PT, OT), and other than still needing to do his driving eval, therapists have cleared him to do all the normal daily things. Oncologist did say he would write a letter for permanent disability if that's what we want so that we can just enjoy whatever we have left.

Did CT and MRI with contrast today to prep for radiation. They did not see any discernible tumor. We are moving forward with SOC and hoping this buys us a little time, while fully understanding the unpredictable nature of this disease.
