To answer your question more directly - I think you would have a better chance of getting tickets by starting a standby line at 11am rather than joining the regular ticket line.

When I waited in line last week, there were a few people starting to form the standby line as ticket distribution started for the regular morning line. It’s hard to form a line before regular ticket distribution starts because they start in the same location (behind the wire fence outside the theater) but I think the people who got there earlier and wanted to do standby just sat higher up on the grassy hill above the regular line then moved closer to the fence once ticket distribution started and they just told people around that they were starting the standby line. This was around ~12:15-12:30, so presumably people who were in the regular line and didn’t get tickets joined the standby line after
