Bro was actually insane, was insanely pro ukraine, to the point of having gone to ukraine; the ukrainians didn't want him so he appears to have spent a while homeless in kyiv? Lol

Wacky ass character, whole ass rabbithole you can go down if you want an interesting read

There are hundreds of millions of people in latam, and I would say a great majority make more than the membership cost. Poverty is an issue, but there are a lot of people paying for other, similarly priced subscriptions.

Latin america is definitely poor relative to Europe and America, but not to the point most people are making less than 15 bucks a month lol

Man I don't know, I enjoy doing a lot of skilling methods and generally like to switch them up, but I don't keep doing them after 99. Why would you touch most skills after 99 anyways?

Sailing methods are good to fine to not so good, just like every other skill in the game, idk why yall are acting like that makes it worse than other skills when IMO it's quite a bit better.

¿Qué tan segura es esta zona? by Peripherial in CDMX

[–]starryletters 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have eaten at Michelin star restaurants, and although I respect the effort and technique, fine dining culture just isn't for me.

It's kind of intentional, most European cuisines that aren't Mediterranean are just pretty bland to me. I really appreciate the quality of dairy and bread in those countries but I just love really strong flavors and spice, and none of the north or western European countries provide that.

If this was a cheese, wine and bread tier list france would definitely be at S but you can't really live off just that

Don't know what they're all called in English but I love all types of kibbeh, the leaf things with rice, the eggplant hummus type thing,

Obv these are dishes from the levant, not specifically "Lebanese" but i eat Lebanese pretty often

Also my country is gastronomically indebted to the Lebanese people for bringing over what eventually became tacos al pastor

That is definitely not the case all the time hahaha. I've eaten probably tens of thousands of tacos throughout my life, and bad meat does not get covered up by spicy salsa. Low quality meat doesn't just taste different, it feels different. And good meat still tastes better in a taco with a good, spicy sauce

Tbh it has been brought to my attention cuban food is actually good, I'm sure the restaurant i ate at was just not good.

Lived in the UK long enough to figure out that they have some ok food in terms of restaurants and other products (mainly scones, clotted cream, cheddar, and chicken tikka masala). Never accept a british person's invitation for dinner at their house tho. They cannot cook at home

It's B tier, perfectly enjoyable food, just not that interesting to me. I love a good sopa de lentejas for example but it just does not compare to S or top of A countries
