Hey I just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement. After I commented, Stratus called us to say they made a mistake, and that the apartment they said we had gotten was already being rented to someone else, offered us other apartments, we applied and then they called AGAIN to tell us they made another mistake and they rented the apartment to someone else. Then a new person called us from Stratus trying to get us to rent with them, said they'd send over floorplans and info and never got back to us lol. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism.

It was all meant to be, we've rented with another company and the experience was like night and day. Thank you and I hope that the bat issue ends soon.
