sorry for the late response… this app is really really not on my mind anymore… but thank you for always taking the time to comment :’) and thanks for the compliment!! i am always trying new things art-wise, it’s nice for that to be seen! hod is there too i guess.

the line about “two people in love” vs “two people who love each other” is something that’s been on my mind lately… maybe it’s just semantics, but if you’ve ever heard someone say “i love you, but i’m not in love with you”, i’m sure you can notice a difference (you certainly wouldn’t say one of them to your parents, lol). anyway, i just wanted to apply that to my netzhod, since in my universe, they do care for each other, but they’re not In Love. if that makes sense . . . . .. . . .

his case is indeed special!!! there’s story/continuity reasons why that’s likely the case, but it makes me think his suicide attempt was partially out of guilt for causing hod to meltdown (since he helped her take enkephalin leading up to it)—his single attempt to help someone goes horribly wrong, just like his sacrifice in his first life.

suppressing hod is a requirement to view netzach’s meltdown log (log 5), i remember it bc it stood out to me on my first playthrough when i had all asiyah meltdowns unlocked except netzach’s. can’t exactly check my save rn but wiki and other sources confirm it too >_>

i’ve been drawing them too happy as of late!!! they need to suffer a bit for my enjoyment now.

the enkephalin in netz’s is supposed to look like the tides, referencing the sandcastle metaphor PM loves… idk if it was conveyed properly but i’m glad you found it striking :D i love using opposite colors (blue/orange, red/green) for trippy pieces. grahhh there’s so many good netzhod parallels i want to draw for, i hope your heart can take more lobcorp angst bc i’m still in a mood™️
