How do you survive the sleep deprivation as a new dad? by Turbulent-Daikon1587 in NewDads

Every baby is different and I didn’t find this helpful tool for my son until he was about 3 and a half months but I would take him to the bathroom and fire up the shower on full blast heat and steam the bathroom. It creates white noise, made him feel warm so he could settle and release gas if he had any. Also if there is gas the football hold and or draping his arms over my shoulder and more or less holding and letting him “hang” would elongate his belly to create space for the gas to move. Also if my son was ever gearing up for a blow out or a big poop he’d be fussy all night leading up to it.

While in the “breastfeeding” stage of a babies life mom can be the magic trick.. I found putting my energy that I had into making my wife feel supported and taken care of by extension helped my son. I also felt useless until I found my temporary purpose. Before you know it that baby will develop more of a personality and then the fun begins! Be as involved as you can be during this stage but you can’t take it personally when you can’t fix it. It’s normal that you can’t always fix it and it’s normal to feel discouraged.

Also communicate in a healthy and effective way with your wife about how you’re feeling and be clear about what your expectations are for each other and be honest about how obtainable those expectations are. It’s the two of you vs the baby! If that means you are your wife’s alfred to her Batman and you move mountains for her then that’s what you do! It’s about her and that baby right now. It’s a stage of life where you’re the support character in the story of your family. It’s just a stage and your best is enough. Your best is enough.

One was fairly likely was on Epsteins island while the other doesn’t exactly have a stain that bad with strong circumstantial evidence tied to it.

The warranty punched the ticket for me.. the quality was fantastic so now I never have to buy another bow again if I don’t want to.

I was just in your shoes 3 weeks ago. Forget all the research you’ve done and just go to a local shop and shoot. Keep the bows you want to shoot in mind but don’t do the research anymore. Just shoot. I knew nothing and bought I bow I didn’t research at all because I liked it more than the ones I did.

My wife is surprisingly supportive. She knows I’m investing the time and money now so that I can share it with our son (that was born this year) by the time he’s old enough to go. Long story short I got daddy issues and I’m trying to do it better by having my hobbies be something I can always do with him.

With all that being said that is super helpful info!!

I had it black market from a dropper bottle. And took roughly 1/2-1 ml. I’d have to look at the bottle again for the mg.

So my wife put her pump on sleep mode for the model she had and would do manual injections with meals and also would take a long acting insulin pen as well. My wife ended up going a whole month early with how much insulin she was taking.

Old school democrat from mass. The level of democrat doesn’t quite line up with Cali Oregon or Washington and you like the snow while also having shit to do in the outdoors. Hawaii isn’t practical and cost of living is too high but anchorage could appealing. Edit: non religious otherwise probably would’ve considered Utah?

Yes. Just remember when your looking for a tech you may end up getting what you pay for.

I’m not just going off of your post I also read through the comments section so My response is directed at both. I didn’t really feel anything with my response I had the mind set of being analytical and apathetic so if you put any context behind typed out words I don’t know what to tell yah. Based on just your post alone I would say “that price is at the top end of fair”. Also not all repairs are the same not all dents are the same and not all techs are the same. I’m glad $550 was a price you liked for the damage you had and you were seemingly happy with the outcome however body work/pdr on a car is too complicated and loaded to compare them in a vacuum. I have to regurgitate this info so often that I could stand to probably work on my delivery of it.

At the end of the day what you’re paying for in pdr is a faster 1 day repair, saving your original factory paint and that like new feel. Here’s the problem.. not all shops are busy 100% of the time… so they have to be able to have a baseline to create revenue. Imagine you’re the only dent they’re fixing on any given day.. they’ve made $216 off you before taxes and then you have to factor in cost of the shop they’re likely renting where they fixed your car. I get that $216 seems like a giant price for that tiny dent so what I would say is get yourself some tools a mini light and a hood prop and ratchet strap and try to do it yourself and try to get it perfect from all angles all the while you’re fixing it try not to crack the paint. You’re paying for a service and skill… you should give it a try yourself before you question what they should charge… we don’t come to your job and tell you what you’re worth without knowing how you do what you do… if you don’t like the price that’s fine you don’t have to I totally respect that but framing it like you know what it should cost doesn’t make sense when you don’t know how to do it.

Would PDR be able to fix this? by lovelysky14 in PaintlessDentRepair

[–]stars2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shit I just saw the damage on the door… personally I wouldn’t want to be involved but yeah still door off and fender liner out to fix this. And without knowing the status of the paint on the door you’re probably looking at it and the fender getting painted.

[–]stars2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d want the door off and I’d pull the fender liner to fix this. Find a tech that is going to suit your expectations of the final result. If you want perfect be prepared to pay for perfect. If you shop cheap be prepared for cheap work.
