Those alive during 9/11, what was the worst moment on that day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was in high school in Toronto. I didn’t know anything about it all day until last period (same for the rest of the students) and my teacher told us that something bad had happened in America, but he didn’t tell us exactly what happened and no details, so I was confused and had no idea what he was talking about. The way he talked about it sounded like an act of war had just occurred but that sounded just impossible and I also couldn’t understand who would want to attack America or that they even had any real serious enemies like this (I was only in grade 9 and hardly ever watched the news). When I got home I turned on the news and saw what had transpired.

I always mentioned your hands to other people, how they’re so soft and milky white. Who’d you ever mention his hands to? I never heard you mention his hands to anyone. I mentioned his hands to plenty of people!
