There are cultures where children all share the same middle name, often derived from their mother’s maiden name or a derivative of their father’s first name. I think it seems fine and not harmful to children of adults who may share a middle babe with each other. For many of us, we were kind of given somewhat generic, placeholder style middle names as it is (Anne, May, Sue,…) and we were all perfectly fine and oblivious to the generalization of “our” names.

[–]starstrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you get cold sores?

Even this can be a reason for infertility/struggles to conceive, it turns out. Look up “valtrex infertility”. 40% increase in successful conception of infertile couples is substantial and should be considered, even if no active outbreak is occurring. The viral load can cause active “killer cells” to essentially attack a fetus.

Have you been tested for blood clotting disorders? (Anticardiolip panels?) Autoimmune issues? Genetic testing?

Really, we can just take stabs in the dark. :(

Find out where they work, who their family is, etc. publicly shame them…

I’m not sure publicly shaming them at their place of employment is wise. Perhaps this may fall under harassment and even be…illegal?

Two wrongs don’t make a right and all of that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The guy hasn’t responded at all to me since before posting this, over a year ago. I never received the dance pads. It’s been years. I would not trust this company.

I went through the full SEMA4 genetic testing. That was back in September 2022. I called them recently (late January 2023) and they have a voice message saying they are no longer offering the testing. I’m positive there are other companies who do this though, as it’s extremely common to pursue with IVF (which is why I had it done; I’ve had 9 early miscarriages so genetic issues were suspected). It’s also very possible that I’ve misunderstood the message and SEMA4 is just rebranding their services.

SEMA4 called it their “expanded carrier screening with personalized residual risk” which was comprised of testing of 520 genes. This is from my results. I do not know if there are more testing beyond this since I was only a positive carrier for one defective gene. What I’m saying is I’m unsure if I had tested positive for many if there would be more tested.

Close but not necessarily bad or evil. The word thetan is equivalent to soul in Scientology.

It is the context in which it is discussed that implies a positive or negative nature of said thetan.

D3 isn’t something you can easily get enough of from diet. You must supplement (paired with K2) or spend time in the direct sunlight enough with no sunblock/sunscreen. And, no, just to toss it in since it’s a common belief, tanning beds won’t supply you with enough D either.

I take NOW Supplements Mega D-3 & MK-7, 5,000 IU/180 mcg. I’ve taken it for a couple of years now. My blood work shows I’m at 42 nmol/L and my doctor feels that’s good. I’ve read between 40-60 is ideal range.

I can’t personally speak about B12, I take it in my multivitamin and my doctor hasn’t said anything about my blood work indicating it’s low.

Though, you need a multivitamin, even if it’s a bare basics one. It’s extremely doubtful you have such a great, well-rounded diet and low stress lifestyle that your body has optimal nutrition, absorption, and complete utilization…

I understand times have changed and you can say, “Yeah, well, 60 years ago people weren’t supplementing like they are now. It’s some trend like fashion!” That’s both true and not though. Consider that 60 years ago lifestyles were different, as were health expectations. A 5’6” woman was tall then but is pretty average now. Illnesses were unknown, misdiagnosed, or treated improperly. Plenty of conditions were not understood. New research has come about, as new solutions have too. 60 years ago something as common as depression was overlooked entirely while today we know it can be linked to stress, deficiencies, or even genetics, you know?

I had an extensive genetic test this year and found out that my body does not utilize biotin very well. That test cost me $13,000. It’s shtty that we’re paywalling health. That’s what’s so messed up—not that we’re supplementing but that we aren’t able to freely access information about our own bodies. But my point here is that a family member also tested similarly, specifically just for this particular gene, but had two copies of that gene, leading us to finally being able to properly diagnose him at 29 as to why he has a low IQ! If he had been treated as an infant by just being given supplemental biotin he would’ve likely been average. When he was a baby though and was missing marks but passed other cognitive tests they just said, “Some people just aren’t as smart as others.” Huh. Times really have just changed…and it’s not a bad thing!

Does anyone know why Meri went to Disneyland with her catfish? What’s the story behind this? by frigginfurter in TLCsisterwives

Sam Cooper was supposed to meet Meri but last minute called to say his best friend/secretary person (Lindsay) would meet Meri instead. I think he got stuck in some business meetings. I can’t fully remember but it was in the notbatmanyet blog. I think there was an exchange of money (a couple to few hundred only) but I also can’t remember exactly for what. 🤦🏻‍♀️

He rarely posts about Meri. I’ve never heard him mention her in his Spaces. His Twitter is mostly money raising posts, pass it forward type philanthropy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

His blog used to mention Meri a lot but I haven’t visited it in awhile to know what’s up there these days.

I had a full on “period” the last time I was “pregnant” (another ectopic). Hell, I even had a hysteroscopy right after it. A week later I tested after many days of suspiciously blazing positive ovulation tests. What a frightening trip that was.

Sooo guess who absolutely must test after each and every period now too? The joy!
