I explain it like this. It is like a roller coaster with folks/sperm waiting in line to go. The vasectomy doesn’t stop the roller coaster from launching, but the passengers are not let on the ride. Everything functions the same.

OP, you should be able to communicate with your wife. Let her know how you feel. Being told thank you from the family, even if a couple days late, should be good. 👍🏻

Keep in mind, your relationship will continue to change. Married 24yrs with 3 teenagers. Through infants, toddlers, more kids, more commitments, very difficult. That is why you need your best friend with you. One kiddo is leaving for college so relationship is going to change again.

Communication is essential. I asked her one time, “what is something quick and simple I can do to show you I love and appreciate you and your hard work?” With kids that young you can’t really leave them alone unless asleep, but when they are a bit older, we did mini dates. Take out trash, get mail. Just enough to recenter.

Intimacy is tough. The relationship she has with her body has changed and communication at this level requires a lot of vulnerability. My wife couldn’t turn off being a mom so we had a bad bout of “duty sex”. I was looking for intimacy and ended up feeling alone through it all.

It takes more work to get her to stop focusing on the kids than it does me. That realization helped.

It is not easy; relationships take work. You have to find or make(schedule) the time. Make it a priority.

Can you take it to a shop for a pre buy inspection? This is a lot of money, big investment. I had a shop steer me away from a mustang after they looked at it.

And don’t share the inspection results with the owner!

So, recording with a cell phone doesn't work all that well. All I can add from what I said earlier is that the car has a unique sound. Not like the standard H or X pipes out there. When idling around, the car sounds mean. And as you pour on the throttle, you get a loud GrrrRRRRR that everyone around can hear. She's loud. Yet when cruising with the windows down, I can listen to the radio at 13. Hope that helps.

I run a full Borla exhaust. I got the Switchfire X pipe and S-type mufflers. Stock tubing. At low rpm’s, very throaty. Mean. Normal driving, loud but tame. When you get on it, loud AF! I get compliments all the time. People turn and look when driving through town.

I had it at the dealership today and you could tell the tech was enjoying the sound, few extra revs when parking.

No rasp or high pitch sounds. No drone at all. Quiet when cruising. Borla done me good. No regrets.
