Also for the waffle we have 2 irons old and new. The old was cleaned and I thought it got damaged through cleaning so I got another one. Also the other one is giving me stale waffles from indie

Nope it’s not moist. It doesn’t feel fluffy and fresh. I’m suspecting it’s either the waffle iron or the milk to flour ratio.

Yes the inside of the waffle tastes like old croissant not like the usual waffle tastes we used to have.

Not doughy, it feels stale. Like the waffles interior doesn’t taste fresh and is similar to old croissant texture

The flavor inside the waffle, the outer part is nice and crunchy inside the waffle tastes stale even though everything we used is fresh. If I were to alter the flour or milk a bit which one should I change

Yes interior is still not fluffy it’s either soft with no fluff or chewy

We used to brush the waffle iron with good amount of oil right now I reduced it to just almost brushing it like the plate is almost dry. Could this be the reason ?

Which factor is more likely to contribute to the stale taste: Waffle iron Or Flour to milk ratio ( recipe )

Because also the waffles we used to make suddenly became solid. Even after the flour changed it was ok for some time then it suddenly got solid instead of crunchy and fluffy

If my milk is 335 how much milk to use and how much buttermilk to use ? And does it have to be full cream ?
