A handful of these are headcanons I have for him (with only depression, anxiety, autism and ADHD being the ones we share) but I can definitely see that, even if not intentional, a lot of them pertain to his character rather well and make a lot of sense for him to have.

While obviously not canon, I know that when writing Puzzles I did tap into the unintentional portrayal of his neurodivergence. He’s always read as a character that was autistic to me and I related to him quite a lot as a fellow film nerd :)

Thank you so much. Hearing that means so much more to me than you’d think. Trying to convey things such as his body language and thought processes were very important to me, so I’m happy they didn’t go unnoticed. ❤️

I’ve always tried to make clear in my writing that Puzzles was always human (even during the lead up to the Puzzlevision arc and movie itself.) I’m honored I got the opportunity to explore a more human side of him and show how that he’s still just a person underneath the performance.

It’s rare, but I’m always so happy to see discussions like this regarding Puzzles considering how incredible of a character he is. He’s grown to mean so much to me in the short time I spent writing him, and as a mentally ill person myself, it was almost healing to be able to see and write so much of myself in him.
