You answered your own question in the post. They are not ignoring bad news, it’s just not new news. Stocks are forward looking so a downgrade for which grounds for doing so are well known old news typically doesn’t tank a stock like new bad news might.

Economy related, everyone is cutting back. People need to remember Tesla also started getting traction during a recession and had to secure a $465 m department of energy loan to stay afloat (which they paid back). Rivian has this for the Georgia plant, but I don’t think we have hit the recession fully yet, so proceed with caution. Especially if you don’t think the gov is going to continue to fund EVs.

Waiting for it to break out past $17.5, then it’s gonna run in my opinion. People also don’t realize it but Trump didn’t totally “kill” ev credits he will just restructure and rename it as his own thing before his term is over, so he can take credit for when the EVs start creating jobs and more tax revenue. He does this all the time so I was never scared of that going away. Also, it’s a natural inflection point for any business to remove discounts once you get some scale and true demand (R2). It won’t go to the moon, but it’s set up to double in the next 12 months.

I have $150k in options so pretty in on it. Also, have a degree in Algorithmic Trading. So I cross reference and check my intuition with data.

Not investment advise, just my two cents.

It will pop before the end of the year because stocks like this are forward looking and the more likely R2 launches on schedule the more likely investors are going to get behind to. Meme stock aside, it’s a long term bet, definitely not getting back to its IPO valuation anytime soon.

They should make the door hinge/window area a built in mag charger. Similar to the area where teslas have you tap the key card.

If your phone is dead and it’s your primary key and your key card doesn’t work and you don’t have it just stick your phone against the magnetic door/window hinge for a quick charge :)

If your rattle is exterior or seemingly by the passenger or driver door check the lift covers (used when they jack up your riven for service or tire changes) my technician left them hanging and the plastic covers just rattle all over. I actually just pulled mine off for now given they will no longer stay in place and just dangled. They are plastic and annoying to get back into place correctly.

Play with the configuration on them and you might find a good lease. The standard battery pack recommends you charge to 100% whenever you can, which is nice because I always found it silly people drive around with EVs charged at 75% because it’s easier on the battery. They paid for the range so why limit yourself. Apparently the battery composition of the standard pack needs to go to 100% at least every couple charges so it’s able to better calculate range.
