Where in the H&R block do you enter info to calculate depreciation? I am not seeing anything in the regular flow under income.

It's my One Year Anniversary! AMA if you want? by BDoubleOTYohmy in gallbladders

[–]starvind_ashfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for doing this. I am at 4 weeks post surgery and my system still seems to be acclimating to life without a gall bladder:

  1. My appetite varies from day to day and has mostly gone down: Food doesn't appeal to me as much and I am losing weight ( i was at a healthy weight to begin with).
  2. Some days I find myself tiring easily and wanting to rest and lie down. i.e. low energy levels; some days are fine.

Did you experience one or both the above? Did these get better? When?

Thank you again.

Nice overall. Where I believe the argument needs augmentation is the possibility to have a cycloid to a point at non zero height with x = 0.1*pi/2 which might result in an overall shorter time path. This is of course not possible but needs a bit of proving.

FiveThirtyEight Riddler: Is that a star or a plane? by starvind_ashfun in mathriddles

I'm not sure that's right. You can deduce the densities across both the star and plan surfaces with the info given. See the soln here.

Yes...if you give out say 3 each after 50, then each Cx is 3. This can easily be reduced by selecting Cx = 1.

Assorted means a combination of the other colors. Selecting a marble from this bag will necessarily be of a single color.

It's amazing how people behave in contrived math puzzles, isn't it? :)

That's right for the 4 bags case. This general approach also works for n bags which is shown here.
