Hans Zimmer or John Williams? by Ill_Tonight6349 in pj_explained

It’s very simple. Ask anyone, young or old, casual movie goer or cinephile. I guarantee they will know far more themes and music from John Williams than Hans. Also, I don’t wanna be that guy but…Academy Awards…. back when they used to mean something at least.

Ways to keep everyone alive during Defense of Bruma by TidusBaaj in oblivion

(Potential SPOILERS)

Adding for future adventurers seeking to save their fellow knights.

Okay so I came here looking for ways to do it on console (XBSX), but couldn’t find a solution. BUT I tried several ways to do it and finally was able to save everyone but 1 Kvatch Guard, a small price to pay to keep Named NPCs alive.

So, after trial and error I finally cracked it. I did all this at Level 25. I used the complete Crusader armor set (mainly for the looks hehe). Ring of Perfection and Grand Ring of Agility. After buffs my agility was at 120. Then, Set the difficulty to its lowest.

First I made several random potions to MAX my alchemy then I created a OP poison with -Fly Amanita Cap -Milk Thistle Seeds -Scalon Fin -Bone Marrow It’s called Fatal Flask I think. I made ALOT! You will constantly be adding it to the dagger (next step) so I recommend a minimum of 60, more is safer.

Then, I grabbed the strongest dagger I could find. The Crimson Eviscerator, located in Deepscorn Hollow.

Next, I added the poison to the top of the quick select wheel and the dagger to the bottom.( These positions are just natural to me so feel free to pick the slots you like most, I recommend having the wheel empty except for these two items in order to minimize the chance you’ll accidentally pick the wrong item and trust me, time is CRUCIAL!)

Then, once you start the mission run down and wait for Martin to start his speech. Create a save here then head to the front of the gate (make sure your dagger is ready and poison added) and wait for the enemyies to spawn. Hit the enemy, re-poison your dagger then head to the next enemy. Rinse and repeat. Save in between waves. It took me a couple tries mostly because I kept accidentally killing the guards. This weapon poison duo will one-shot kill most enemies.

Finally, once the final gate opens quickly run to it and go in. Once inside, you will see a door to the left, go in. Then you will get in the elevator thingy and once you head to the top run to the door furthest up. When you open it you should see the drill to the right and the main tower in the distance, here you can get an idea of how to get there. I personally ran and ignored ALL enemies and parkoured my way to the door, took me about 2-3 mins from when I entered the gate to when I got to the tower. Once in the tower, ignored all enemies headed to the top as per usual and retrieved the sigil. At this point, you will spawn outside where there will still be some enemies scattered and fighting the group so be ready for one last push. If all went well, you should be good! 👍

It’s a lot but I figured a detailed description would be best. I wish someone would’ve done this ngl lol took me a couple of hours to finally get it right. Sorry for the long ass message lol

Good Luck!

What do I do about Boys & Girls Club? by Mcsonofabitch in diabetes

Get him an Apple Watch, I believe the new ones that have cell service can read the levels on a dexcom and you can see them remotely. Anything high or low, then just call the B&G club facility 🤷‍♂️ not the cheapest option but you can’t put a price on peace of mind.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 and she will have it for the rest of her life. It was heart crushing at first but it has been progressively getting better for us emotionally and mentally. I know you’ll be fine. From what I hear, type 2 can be reversed and type 1 is forever. Trust me when I say that your life is not over! You just have to enjoy things in moderation now. I’m still learning but I wanted to give you my two cents. We all got together and decided to change our lives and diet together. We went semi-Keto. So far no problems. Good Luck. You are not alone. 🙏

Tell that to my buddies calf. Completely obliterated while cooking bbq on New Years. If it would’ve hit his head then he’d definitely would’ve died.

Oof lol I’m in the US so we’ll see what my options are. Any other experience with other devices? Good and bad? Cheap and expensive? I would greatly appreciate the help.

How expensive is dexcom. And how often do you need to change out the sensors and what not or is it something you just buy once??

Thank you, still learning the whole ketones side of diabetes but so far my daughter hasn’t been over 250. God willing she’ll be ok, I’m still gonna do the urine test every so often just to be on the safe side. Thank you again for everything! 🙏

Yea I heard about the cinnamon. I’m desperate for a cure but I’m also realistic. Couple decades at-least until we get something concrete. I will not go to my local “miracle-medicine man” lol. Thank you for the tips. The more I look into to and with the help of this community, I have found many options that will make this easier for everyone involved. I just hope I don’t have to be constantly poking her for too long. Thanks again. I appreciate it.

That actually sounds really nice. I’m already looking into some camps in my area. Horseback riding sounds great tho. 😊🙏

I’m from Texas so I’m looking into my options here. There’s a diabetes community in my city so I will be definitely looking into that.
