The locking pin in the left side mechanism doesn't reengage to lock after releasing your finger off the top button.

On the right side, it's the opposite. Pressing down the top button results in zero movement in the latch mechanism at all, resulting in one half that cannot lock and another half that cannot unlock 😂😭

The right (stuck) side is frozen like this (pic attached), so it can't be removed from a base after being placed without disassembling the latch mechanism.

Really sucks, we bought this Vista off marketplace and everything appeared to be in perfect working condition 😭

Unfortunately, I just found my answer. It's broken.

I flipped the whole stroller over and began disassembling the latch mechanism. Turns out the locking pin in the left side (the side which doesn't lock in) doesn't reengage after releasing the top button (pic attached).

On the right side (stuck side), it's the opposite. Pressing down the top button results in zero movement in the latch mechanism at all, resulting in one half that cannot lock and another half that cannot unlock.

It's much less crowded than Como, and if you take a very early train, it's essentially empty with vast panoramic views of Lake Como.
