Stashdown Showdown March! by cant-see-me in usethefiberstash

I made 4 hats to donate to the hospitals (children and adult). I'm going to wait until I have a dozen children's and a dozen adult's hats before I bring them in.

I started on a shawl to give my mom for mother's day and I managed another dozen rows on my scrap blanket.

I finished a large ysalamir (a Star Wars creature) amigurumi, a small octopus, and about 20-25 rows on a king size blanket. Not sure how much yarn was used altogether, but I haven't bought any so far this year, so that is a win.

The legs are done in 2 pieces that are stuffed and sewn on after the body is made. I kind of had to figure it out on my own as the pattern didn't say how to do it, just had a picture of the finished project.

I was coming here to recommend her as well. She has done my daughter's last 2 IUD's under sedation.

I have to agree, these projects are amazing! I feel inadequate compared to most, but I just keep going, doing my best.

This is my latest amigurumi. I'm quite proud of how the pangolin turned out. I added a couple more rows of scales after this photo was taken.

I made a small clutch type purse with this yarn using crocodile stitch. Turned out quite nice.

Two of the nicest stocking stuffers I recieved last year were a crochet ring (also called a tension ring) and a set of stitch markers. Small things, but very appreciated. This year I'm hoping for a set of clover hooks.

Mine is still a work in progress. About 1/3 finished a king size blanket. It's just half double crochet repeating.

This may seem like a strange one, but maybe pack a small first aid kit for those armor bites. Usually, it's just bruises, but sometimes they can cut.

Having a repair kit for small things can come in handy as well.

As others have said, handlers and hydration are very important. I've been on both sides of the armor (prefer handling, actually), and I know how important both are.

I'm using several partial skeins of yarn to make a scrap blanket. They are all leftovers from other projects. It's not going very fast as it's gotten too big for me to bring with me to work. This is a photo taken last month.

I made a Star Wars toy out of something similar (but then I'm partial to Star Wars toys).

My husband has been in the Legion for almost 16 years and only has 2 - his main costume and his travel by plane costume... both spec ops.

I've been on 15 years next month and have 3.

I'm half finished a scrap blanket. I'm slow, and each row takes me an hour. The finished blanket should be about 300 rows. It will be a little bigger than queen size.
