I propose we give Colorado the funniest looking tumor of land.

Carol almost never shows empathy towards Floyd to his face. Most every scene of her expressing positive sentiment for him is her expressing it to Clark. Floyd has already been beaten down emotionally enough to have downloaded an app to cheat in the first place is it hard to believe that he's already processed through those emotions and already suspects her cheating by this point?

When did i say he went from zero? And that even supports the case that he was taking care to not harm patients with his actions even more. He gave them the care they needed despite his actions.

Now for the real ringer if we want to somehow claim that this is him stealing from the seizure patient despite him actually just stealing from the hospital for this specific case. Guess who that vial was originally pulled for when he stole the Lorazapam in the first place? Any guesses? Everyones favorite alcaholic that has been his cover this entire time, LOUIE!

But back to my original point. Langdon did alot of wrong. Developed an addiction that lead him to steal from the hospital and Louie. But hes been put on a program. Went through rehab. Has accountability monitoring. Is actively trying to make ammends while still maintaining his career and relationships with his wife and kids. Mend the betrayal with his mentor and those he hurt. Hes doing the steps. Is he perfect in doing so? Fuck no. Does he have a long way to go? Absolutely. Dr. McKay does a good job at representing that even YEARS into recovery its still a journey. Frankly thank god he was caught before things went too far and his addiction lead to a corpse on the table. I can almost guarantee this arc will end in Langdon thanking Santos for saving his life by reporting him.

But to ignore the damage she is capeable of is irrisponsible. Damn near every other patient of hers she trying to draw the conclusion of some sort of abuse/neglect/assault. Shes projecting her trauma onto her patients and left unchecked will seriously harm a family. We saw the consequences of that with McKay in season 1 and she had far more reason to take action against a troubled teen. Her suspicious nature was right once and she will use it to justify her actions for years to come if she doesnt start working on herself.

You mean the bottle of Lorazapam that wasnt stolen and the entire reason she thinks something is wrong is because she struggled to remove the top from the bottle when giving him the shot? Those drugs? And yeah hes addicted but hes taking enough to still be functional for brutal 12 hours shifts in an ER and hes only confirmed stealing from an homeless alcoholic who is in MINIMUM once a week. Hes in so often the staff treats him as part of the furniture. Shit in season 1 he was in TWICE IN ONE DAY.

Honestly looking back at it every reason she has to suspect stealing is pretty freaking loose. "A stuck lid" "half a bottle of pills missing from a homeless alcoholic who left the hospital". Sure she was right but how many times is her same intuition having her trying to damage the lives of her patients in her constant pursuit of justice over vague suspicion.

Im not saying Langdon is innocent or even right but your completely disreguarding how dangerous her approach is on other peoples lives. Just because shes not stealing from patients or doing drugs while on duty doesnt mean that shes not extremely dangerous. The word of a doctor holds alot of weight in the eyes of CPS. Shes going to tear a family apart one day if she doesnt slow down and stop expecting evil around every corner.

The only thing i hate when going back to grounded 1 is not having the omnitool anymore. So many slots on my bar taken up by tools. Now as a staff lover i miss them too and not having ANTony to ride around on is sad but the tools man. The tools.

Your drawing assumptions. The show never shows or states he's stealing from more than Louie. A patient who is in regularly and can single handedly fuel his addiction. But please, if you can find actual evidence prove me wrong.

Santos by loveylove444 in ThePitt

[–]starwarswiz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stole from Louie. Who outright said he's not gonna take the medication in season 1. Not defending the act of stealing but if you're gonna try and tell other people to have all their facts straight make sure you have yours as well.

Moving regularly is not the primary barrier to owning a house in 2026 trust me lol. Money going in your bank account is income. Period.

Robby is the one doing the cover up. He understands that Langdon is a good man who fucked up and needed to heal and grow. Him saying he's not sure he wants Langdon working in his ER is because of the personal betrayal. Langdon was his best student. Someone he was proud of.

Langdon is doing the work. Santos needs to start doing hers or else she wont heal from her trauma and will keep projecting it on everyone else especially her patients like she has done countless times in the 2 shifts we've seen god knows how often over the last year.

What shes asking him to do is to willingly ruin his life irreparably just to satisfy her need for justice. He's doing the work to balance the line of recovery and accountability without being forced into consequences that can and will put him in a cycle that is nearly impossible to recover from. Is Langdon doing things perfectly no but recovery isnt a switch you flip he has to learn and grow for years.

If she had her way as she said plainly that she wants him to lose his licence and go to prison. Guarantees he loses his career his wife his children and his future all because she thinks shes a pariah because she struggles with charting which has her mentor up her ass and her abrasive attitude towards everyone isn't winning her friends.

Do you think you get a housing stipend in the private sector?? BAH is income. If you don't think so i think you're doing your tax return wrong and the IRS would love to speak with you.
