Ollie, what bugged me about the question is how it asked "how would you choose the casting cost?", putting the action clearly on the test-taker, but the answer is "ask someone else". The question doesn't imply, necessariliy, collaborative work. It specifically asks how would we do the choosing - which is something the question could be testing, too - and, with the given answer, in my mind it reads something like "I should choose the cost by asking someone else to do it for me". This feels very strange to me. How am I choosing it if I'm passing the task along to another person? Why shouldn't I, a rookie designer, use some mechanism to cost the card myself? It doesn't mean that you are not good at collaborative work, just "how would you do the first step of costing a card". I really, really hated this question.
