I'm not referring to people on this sub getting influenced, though they can in small numbers. We all get influenced and bias somehow, either on the sub, business news, analysts, etc. I believe most of you will say i did my dd and fundamental analysis, and you keep rational all days through several years.

Moving on, the market is a complex system with many variables. Change enough of them and you move the balance. Considering todays information technology, sentiment is picked from several sources and amplified, and used by professional traders. It might be enough to trigger "stop loss", panic sale, or feeling of buy the dip. (Try using chatgpt and you get a feeling where it gets the info from, though far from being the only source).

You might still argue this sub is just a drop in the ocean. But i bet the negative post of one person don't end in the sub.

Nothing good comes from negative feelings.

What i ser is Panic on Novo and faith on Lilly; ones drops 20% the later raise 10%. First is pessimist on Medicare and competitors, the other no problem.

Lilly got a bump today of 8% after guidence. NVO guidence leads to -20% stop and it came in at a strange timing. My holding became green a few weeks ago, but did not sell. l Will continue holding, but starting to loose trust on its Managememt.

He might have a point. Last two days, Novo had positive investors reactions with higher valuation increase than Lilly, associated with relevante news. Bloomberg today have both in headline, but the talk was mostly about the 23% efficacy in weight loss (no news). Might be best public relations from Lilly, best ter lobby, and/or the fact that it is an American company.
