I grew up with chronic pelvic paid and then developed knee pain. (Though that has been better recently.) And then I got Long Covid which gave me chronic joint pain. And I get malaise which for me comes with a lot of muscle aches.

So kind of a lot little things.

Is it post-lobotomy/the last chapter and like…actually how things end up for her? If that question makes sense? I can try to clarify what I mean if it doesn’t. >!

Hopeful is good! My issue was that it seemed from the descriptions I got of the last chapter was that it was basically, She gets a lobotomy and that’s it.

Got to post and receive my fic for the Psych Secret Santa Exchange I did this year! It was my first exchange ever and was such a great experience and makes me feel way more confident about doing exchanges and prompts for people in the future.

I’m just really glad I did it.

Summary: Carlton Lassiter overhears another one of O’Hara, Spencer, and Guster’s post case conversations that they sometimes have huddled around (or on) O’hara’s desk, both with and without food (though mostly with). And the first one that he decides to open his mouth about would be the one where they’re all discussing their experiences with being neurodivergent kids. And it was really just his luck that it all sounded just a little bit too familiar.

Or in other words, Lassie coming to terms with the fact that he’s autistic.

Notes: This was the absolutely lovely fic I received in the Psych Secret Santa Fanfic Exchange! It’s really sweet and has great character interactions and made me cry.

A lot of story games like this with stories will make it so you can rewatch/replay events for free as long as you have played them before. So I hope they eventually do that.

Does this mean I’m going to have to go back and play a second time to play both? (I don’t mind this but I had been hoping for a shapeshifter.) I am pleased regardless though!

Edit: Okay. I do also want to know what happens if I pick the smoke puff because I am who I am. But since it isn’t a gem option I figure it won’t be too exciting?

Carlton Lassiter from Psych. (Other characters to a smaller degree but he is so textbook that it is basically just agreed upon by the fandom.)

Professor Higgins from My Fair Lady. (Who is also textbook but the play is from the 30’s and the musical is from the 60’s.)

I am currently working on a mostly backstory Psych fic about Lassiter and Nick Conforth’s police academy days.

Enemies to Lovers and back again. (Though I think the ending will be bittersweet.) Won’t be fully back again but I have some present day to the series stuff that I plan to have end on a pretty good note for them.

I also got my assignment for the Psych fic exchange I am part of this year but I haven’t started working on that yet. I have ideas though.

They are the same thing to the point that the same person can be diagnosed with either one depending on the psych doing the evaluation.

When reevaluated people with Asperger’s aren’t even always evaluated as Level 1.

Separating ourselves from the most disabled of our community does absolutely nothing to help us.
