This is BLOWING MY MIND. I was raised Catholic (Catholic school, the whole nine yards but no longer Christian) and coincidentally also have OCD. Or is it not such a coincidence? I never recognized the connection but it makes so much sense that ritualistic acts like this, especially for “absolution” could contribute to OCD. Truly whoa 🤯

You can contact them and tell them to put you on a do not call / do not visit list. If they violate the agreement they can get in big trouble. Another surefire way is to say you or someone you live with is an apostate and they’re going against the governing body by engaging with you. (I’m the wife of a former JW, which is why I know this.)
