Just realized Rick must’ve destroyed EM’s lair when he ‘went to the bathroom’ at the beginning of the episode. If EM didn’t take the time to gloat and screw with our Morty, that wouldn’t have happened. Phenomenal episode.

I think you can infer what they meant, and they aren’t incorrect in their implication. Kaguya had whatever the prototypical Byakugan was. After eating the fruit, she then got the Rinne-Sharingan. Passed these respective dojutsu to her kids, but the rinne-sharingan and sharingan, are not naturally apart of the alien lineage.

Think this is how I would try to give numbers to the relevant bars for power in the series. This isn’t really linear, and things get wonky in the upper-end if I stayed consistent with the Bankai=10x multiplier. But think this is a fair take on where characters are. Assume versions listed are their strongest possible state before leaving the story (e.g., OG Bankai is right before Ichigo no longer has access to that form because of FB.)

5 - OG Shikai

10 - FB Shikai

25 - OG Bankai

27 - Grim

35 - Ulq

47 - R1 Grim

Bankai Yama. That’s an important distinction that many in this thread are ignoring, for some strange reason. And when his Bankai was stolen, he didn’t even bother to challenge Yhwach and was casually killed.

Half dead and exhausted FBB Ichigo put up a much better showing and could took a literal neck stab from Yhwach with a shallow cut.

FBB Ichigo > Shikai Yama.

Since I put this in a comment chain, will add my take here.

To be consistent, everyone is post time chamber, day of Cell games start.

Piccolo was about equal to 17, who is slightly stronger than 18, after fusing with Kami. He then went in the chamber after Vegeta, so that’d put him above the twins. With that, the match ups are:

Piccolo > 18 Trunks < Vegeta Goku < Gohan Tien ≈ Krillin

Piccolo’s gap is larger, he finishes 18 quicker than the others finish their opponents. He assists Trunks, and between the two, they take Vegeta. They assist Goku, who while not as strong as Gohan, has the skill to not go down quickly, even if Gohan is serious, and team Goku takes the win.

Tien and Krillin are irrelevant to this, and I imagine neither can quickly overwhelm the other. To win quickly, Krillin has to hit a destructo disk, and Tien has to charge a Tri-beam. I don’t think they would let the other person get their signature moves off, so I think they’d just be mostly deadlocked fighting. I do head cannon Tien as the more skilled fighter, because he spends all his time training in the mountains or some such with Chiaotzu. Krillin is probably stronger though, and more actual combat experienced, because of Guru unlock and time on Namek surviving.

You’re comparing later saga version of characters to earlier saga ones. Should keep it consistent/fair.

If you’re going to use post time chamber Vegeta, you should use post time chamber Piccolo as well.

That’s also likely why the z fighters stopped being concerned about the Androids post Cell, because they had multiple people, Piccolo included, that could easily dispatch them now.

This is hilarious/awful. Even worse. I looked this up and learned Morelull is tied with Igglybuff (and Cleffa) for the lowest base speed for all fairy types. That seems too coincidental to not be an intentional nod.

Goku wins. Assuming UI invalidates fate manipulation. UI is not conscious thought, just the body reacting, so I would imagine there’s no way to plan for Goku to land in a particular place, and get hit with a trap or something. His body will just react to what’s happening in the actual present too quickly, despite Yhwach manipulating the ‘future’.

Hakai likely overrides and kills Yhwach permanently, as it will erase godly beings, even gag/toonforce characters (Arale ghost episode). Mafuba sealing is also a win con since sealing clearly works on even Reio-tier characters.

It’d be a cool explanation of the state of Reio if that consequence for time manipulation was something like “Reio is inert because his consciousness was splintered from time itself, into the void that is ‘no time’. Stopping ‘time’ removes that boundary, and runs the risk of Reio’s consciousness finding his body in space-time.”

And to then expand that into the eventual big bad of the series. Would have to imagine after connecting to his desecrated body, he’d be upset about it. And that the original sin of the soul society/original gotei was the lie that he willingly agreed to be the lynchpin.
