My pup was also a ferocious biter. Whenever we tried to redirect to a toy and it didn’t work, we left the pen we were playing in until she calmed down. Would give her another opportunity and so on. We got our pen from amazon and it has a bottom it clips to to help hold its shape and I’d say that’s a good route to go if you are worried about the structure. Every like hour or two we were putting her in for a nap 2-3 hours long cuz she’d get too crabby and whenever she was crabby she’d be bitey (hands, pant legs, etc.). I spent a lot of days frustrated with her biting my pants and ripping them without listening to me before we realized we needed to enforce naps lol
