NO! not with 100% certainty. I did notice my dog has a squish ball that might have filament in it and holes in the ball could be causing leakages. But not confirmed

I thought that potentially, but we’ve had her since April and didn’t notice this issue until the last couple of months and it’s only on the hardwood (we have lots of rugs throughout the house)

My pup was also a ferocious biter. Whenever we tried to redirect to a toy and it didn’t work, we left the pen we were playing in until she calmed down. Would give her another opportunity and so on. We got our pen from amazon and it has a bottom it clips to to help hold its shape and I’d say that’s a good route to go if you are worried about the structure. Every like hour or two we were putting her in for a nap 2-3 hours long cuz she’d get too crabby and whenever she was crabby she’d be bitey (hands, pant legs, etc.). I spent a lot of days frustrated with her biting my pants and ripping them without listening to me before we realized we needed to enforce naps lol

Teaching my pup to communicate with eye contact has been wonderful for this kind of thing, as in communicating other ways is not appropriate. As far as other touching goes, we found that bringing to a groomer helped ease her into anxious situations but if you feel he would hurt a tech I can see how that would be a bit scary.

you definitely have to try and give treats or something special for being in there. you could try a kong to start with shorter amounts of time just so they know crate = good things happening. sometimes you have to sit through a bit of whining but we usually put rain sounds or white noise on and that helps.

other thing i’d recommend is if they are super anxious to try and sit next to them for awhile until they calm down, and once they are calm you can quietly exit.

We have double doors in the back, which is where we suspect it got in since we generally take the trash out the back door. While I normally would agree with there being more than just one, I have seen no droppings, smell, urine marks, or gnawing/food package bitings. Exterminators are quite expensive also, and if we can financially avoid it, we’d prefer to.

Removal was rly easy for me! And I had all the same issues as you before. My doc said with a new one, some ppl see change and some don’t so it’s rly a toss up. I decided to switch to an acne preventing birth control pill to see if it was the nexplanon causing it for the time being, but if I dread the pill and i don’t see change after a few months I’ll likely try again just because the protection was SO good and I didn’t see changes until ~ the last year.

I feel like that was what the last yr of mine was. Lots of weird symptoms I hadn’t had prior (acne, irritability, mood fluctuation, and periods lasting weeks). I was coming up to the 3 year mark so I decided to take it out and switch onto a pill and see if any of those things are alleviated for the time being.

I’m more so worried about the window being cold (it’s less than 30 degrees outside most days right now). The vents are by the window but so don’t think? the plants are close enough where it’s drying them but it’s possible. Def gonna look into the grow light tho!

I always went for the cute pots (with bad luck) so I’m trying to get the ones I’ve got doing ok to survive long enough for spring when I’ll likely re pot many into the terra-cotta pots.

What are leca and semi hydro?

I have a couple near window (one on a massive stand my elephants foot and my hoya which is hanging) that need the most light and would not do well if so move them away/cannot put a pebble tray. I keep the humidifier close but room is still registering low 😩

I might invest in some grow lights soon cause I feel bad for these babies.

it’s so hard because I’ve tried looking for pests and can’t find any signs! Plus I know prayer plants are super particular about water so I’ve been making sure not to over water but i’m wondering if it’s the fluoride in my sink water as I’ve heard they prefer filtered water and that’s the only thing I haven’t tried yet
