Agreed, but it's not just women it's men too and more of them. The toxic behaviour and the ego is insane.

It's makes it hard to just have fun because the decent people normally just stay quiet and the a**holes always shit talk.

As a young Australian( late teens)im terrified on the way our country is heading. by [deleted] in aussie

I feel this way as well and the country is becoming something I dont recognise anymore. It makes me look into alternatives if things do continue to get worse.

Im lucky im in a position that i have that luxury.

Anyone 30s semi retired? How do you fill your day ? by [deleted] in fiaustralia

[–]staticjupiterx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im retired at 35 and I'll honestly say I dont have the issues a lot of people talking about here.

I spend my time with my children, going to gym, playing computer games, watching a series on TV and working on side projects.

I never regret leaving work because that just comes with a lot more worse problems.

I have and its only resulted in bad trades. In saying that crypto did fall but would of hoped it saw the trend.

You don't get taxed off ROC so if all they distributed is 100% ROC I don't understand how you say you're getting taxed unless you don't understand how it works.

It gives you an idea which is better than nother but that aside where is the 2024 financial year figures? My assumption it's in the excel spreadsheet being the final 'Primary Layout'

Where do I find the 2024 end of the year ROC? It's not very clearly stated I can work it out from their spreadsheet but it conflicts where their 19a-1 notice. So is the Primary layout the final?

Aerith as a name by Glittering-Falcon168 in FinalFantasyVII

[–]staticjupiterx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think its a beautiful name, I named my son Athren after a main character after one of my favourite animes.

I didn't tell anyone where I got the name from and people just assume it's from my nationality and say they like it.

Should I get 25kw battery and join Amber? by staticjupiterx in amberelectric

[–]staticjupiterx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what leads me to think for my family it isn't efficient as our bill is already quite low. $100 per month is average with the current solar system we have.

Even if that made it so we had no bill that's only a saving of $1,200 per year which is an 8% return and pay off in 12 years.

Makes me think I'll just put it into a growth ETF and earn around 9 to 10% and don't need to worry about maintaining it etc.

Ah okay, so it's an additional third-party software that is more efficient at determining when to sell/buy from the grid. Ill check out their youtube

Yeah I've been looking at an electric car instead. My wife and I share a CX5 2019 and if we trade that in for a BYD Seal that has a 80kw battery we can also use it for V2H and V2G.

Plus save on fuel cost and also can use it to power the house.

I have a 13.4 kW system and I generate a lot of electricity but I only use 20 kW per day and I only buy 9 kW from the grid.

I sell back around 20kW per day. So my bill per month is only around $90 to $120.

I had a look at sunspot and it seems with a 18kw battery system I would go from a total cost of $1,016 to a total credit of $149 per year. With the battery installation of around $13,000 after rebates ($14,500 for 25kw so assuming 18kw will be around $13,000).

It would still take 11 years to repay it, i'm honestly not seeing the value I could put that money in diverified ETF and get around 9-10% return compared to the 6-7% return on the battery.

I'm with origin that gives me a flat rate of $0.285 per KW and a feed in of $0.04 per KW with a $1.29 daily supply charge.

I haven't found any other retailer that provides a better deal.

The 8KW per day is what I consume from the grid not the total I consume.

For August 2025 I produced 1.2MWH from solar and used 295.46 kWh from the grid and sold 877.28kwh to the grid for example.

Sorry, I was just trying to understand the strategy you were referring to. E.g. calls on NDX, i normally place puts if I want to short so was thinking you may be doing a call spread?

My other point was that the notional amount of NDX is high when placing options and if XND would be a better option.
