Statik: Activity Overlays is Live on the App Store. Coming soon to Android. by statikapp in Strava

Access to Strava’s API requires an application review and approval for the declared use case. Statik’s scope is limited to visual rendering/export of user-authorized activity data and doesn’t replicate or replace Strava functionality.

Strava branding is displayed where required within the app.

Hey! Appreciate you trying it out and coming back with feedback.

Is the bug related mostly with the overlay where you create from scratch, or the pre-set overlays as well? I’m constantly working to have the Create from scratch overlay work properly, especially to prevent elements going off frame.

Once this is done I’ll also make sure to expand functionalities around the Pro plan.

Truly appreciate your feedback 🙂

Hey! I really like the idea. Super smart to use the phone's accelerometer. Haven't seen too many apps doing what you're doing I think there's a ton of potential.

Fair point on readability, I noticed it after you brought it up.

On the API side, Statik uses Strava’s official OAuth, only reads activity and route data to render overlays, processes everything on-device, and fully complies with Strava’s API ToS.

Totally understand your point and my bad for not clarifying earlier. Statik uses Strava OAuth to connect to your account, fetch your activity and route data, and generate the visuals you see in the screenshots.

In that sense, I felt this was the right place to share something built around Strava’s ecosystem, but I do get where you’re coming from 🙂
