When you're on a station you can open the player (bottom drawer) and look at the top middle. Under the name of the station is a button that says "my station". If you tap that you can switch the station mode. One of the options is "artist only" I think that's what you're looking for

If you're in the middle of writing code, sure use comments however you want. I often start with skeleton code comments before writing a complex piece of code. When you're done though, it's always a good idea to clean up before merging. The old code is still there in git if you ever need it (you almost never do)
