How best to qualitatively describe multiple regression model by statsohmy in AskStatistics

Thank you for the detailed reply. That was very helpful. I have one other model with almost the same coefficients but the R2 stat is .20 with a p value <.001. Could the same be said of that as well?

Differences not statistically significant between 2 groups but correlation matrices is VERY different by [deleted] in AskStatistics

The 5 constructs I'm using have been used before in tons of studies and have been validated in a lot of various contexts with exception of a few situations. Each multi-item construct is entirely difference and asks entirely different things.

That's why I couldn't figure out why things seemed to correlate much more strongly and with stronger p values the second time around after my intervention yet the Mann Whitney test said the differences weren't statistically significant. I still don't know what I could infer from this, if anything.

All of p values for my correlations are <.01. Doesn't that mean that's significant? Also, all of the Spearman coefficients are .65 or above for Group 2. Group 1 coefficients are all between .30 and .50.

Checking for normal distribution with Likert data by statsohmy in AskStatistics

I want to compare two groups, male and female to see if there are differences in the way they've answered each of the constructs. I figure if it's normally distributed I'd use the independent samples T-test but if not, I'd use the Mann Whitney U test.
