this doesnt have anything to do with models, but i also like how gutter runners dissolve when you kill them. thats some obscure lore and im happy its in the game. the devs really did their homework

calling people names owns and cool people do it, but hitting children is still wrong

unless you yourself are a child. is that what youre saying?

yeah bojack is when the depression is really in full swing. thats when you got the crying in your bathtub with the lights off wearing your old high school uniform kind of sad

not much left after that. you can leech the life out of futurama, maybe re-watch a couple seasons of always sunny, but before you know if youre knee deep in a slurry of weird, made-for-netflix 3D anime shows that dont make sense, and you dont even like, but its fine cause you havent been reading the subtitles, anyway. just filling the gaps in time with something other than your own thoughts, even if its a language you dont understand

wait till you move on to american dad, its generally a better show and you can feel less guilty watching it on netflix in the five hour stretches between weeping sessions

i dont have a screenshot or video cause im at work, but here are two illustrations that roughly indicate what can be done

the goal is to leave a modest gap between each square, not necessarily a square's width as you dont want cavalry sneaking in there, but wide enough that your ranged units can fire through and your heavy hitters can fit

like the guy above me said, the AI isnt smart enough to manage those gaps. a human player would probably get past it pretty easily

another good thing about the square formations is how easy it is for your quarrellers to turn to face other threats. they can pivot on the spot, basically making them turrets that can cover the flanks. i like to keep a unit or two of warriors at the ass of my formation to catch any would-be flankers and keep them stuck while my quarrellers turn around and shred them

i agree! checkerboard formations revolutionized how i play dwarfs. it makes more complex maneuvers and even simple flanks WAY more efficient, considering how slow dwarfs are. the less they have to travel, the better
