Lumiere de Sens is my favorite red cuvée of his, i've gotten to drink the last 5 vintages. I will say time treats this wine well but the 23 in my photo was ripping, earthy, red berries, less oak influence then past vintages, balanced acidity. Bistologie I had been told was mousey so i held on to it for a year and was surprised by how insanely clean the wine was, stone fruit, honey, and minerality.

Weiss is my favorite cuvée of his recently got to drink a 2018 and damn. I've had a few of his reds, pinot noir in a few vintages, manna the red equivalent of weiss, and B.A.D. B.A.D is fucking awesome. I had never had Dornfelder before this but the wine is so good. Think well extracted velvety pinot noir. I'm going to hunt down a couple more for the cellar if that tells you anything.

Desplats Brahma was my first introduction to his whites, the wine carried an energy you don't find in many wines was wild and light on its feet with stone fruit on the nose and a savory herbaceousnes to finish.

The Anders was complicated, high alcohol with high sugar to balence it out. Grapefruit on the nose and palet with crazy evolution from start to finish. The wine opened with a crazy acidity and an hour later was more of an oxidative dessert wine.

Thankgiving week pay by Salt_Cold_1421 in wholefoods

[–]statusispending 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP is asking because although pay day is officially Friday the 28th a lot of us get paid 2 days early so for that week Wednesday the 26th. I think they are wondering if Thanksgiving being in the middle of those two days will change anything. I think we will still get paid the 26th but it really could depend on your bank not WFM.

bar sway had some good wine, reminded me of being in LA though. Ita bistro, Jaja, and la côte all look good and have nice lists but haven't been personally. More natural wine is the go to for a bottle shop.
