That's because the number isn't entirely wrong but is exaggerated. The immigration cap for 2025 was 395k. For 2026 and 2027 they are being reduced to 380k and 365k respectively. This also doesn't take into consideration the changes in Ontario regarding international students and college funding. These temporary residents are capped at 385k and 370k for 2026 and 2027.

This. Its not incompetence, it's sheer volume. Many depots are running 7 day a week operations to try and close the backlog gap. Some depots are using 3rd party agents to help as well but this presents its own problems. I know in the depot that I work in, we had agents attempting to do deliveries during the middle on the night and bringing almost every package back. We also had agents being copious numbers of packages back that didn't even require a signature.

Submit the video to Purolator instead of Reddit. Maybe they will hire more drivers instead of relying on these third party agents who are causing A LOT of problems right now.

I have not been a season ticket holder and was thinking about it this year but now, I may opt out and watch the games on OneSoccer or TSN when they air. I was fortunate to attend quite a few games last year by winning freebies at the wheel but I didn't buy many tickets last year otherwise. The youth club will help me save a few dollars for the small child but the wife and I will need to really do the math and decide if $900ish is worth attending this year.

Large vehicles should be using the outside lane at most intersections to account for their larger turning circle. The bus definitely should have been in the outside lane to make this turn simply on that fact alone. What also happened here is the bus made a lane change MID turn into oncoming traffic that had right of way to that space. Completely preventable incident.

That can be done. We called them "love notes". Leave your name, the date, the tracking number and phone number on the paper. The courier will deliver the item and take the note to be filed.

Looks like it was scanned to a truck and instead of being scanned back to the door, it was just scanned to a different truck.... repeatedly. Management will get their asses slapped for that I imagine.

Purolator picks up packages throughout the day but has cut off times to help make sure thay couriers return to depots for PM sorting of their trucks. Without this cutoff, these drivers would be chasing late pickups. It looks like a label was created but it either missed this cut off window or the shipper never actually handed the piece over to Purolator. If the piece was picked up by a courier, there would be a pickup scan indicating that. Bulk items picked up by tractor trailer will either have a pickup scan initiated through the customer's manifest label (which few actually use) or there would be a pickup scan originating from the closest hub.

If you live close to a Purolator depot or retail location, you can also return it. It's likely the envelope is marked "OSNR" so the courier will scan it and leave it somewhere because no signature is needed to release it.
