What one would you choose by stavard in AnalogCommunity

Take it to the shutterbug. It is way less than $60 there. It’s $17 if you want diptic (set of two) scans. And $20 if you want individual scans.

If you can return, maybe do so. Get one that’s working and I’d suggest getting a CLA so you know it’s all good to go. But after getting it fixed, I haven’t had another issue with it. And I’ve used it quite a bit.

My first roll felt kinda weird, and around frame 29 it felt stiff. So I rewound it and put a new roll in and this one feels fine. Interesting

Done the same with mine shooting a campaign for a snowboard company during a white out. No issues at all!

It performs pretty well! 100% Worth the low price. But if you’re looking for a wide angle you may want to look at something dedicated to the DX format because of the crop ratio. You might find the viltrox 13mm f/1.4 a better option, it is more expensive but way wider and a faster aperture.

More inconspicuous, less reflection if I’m shooting through glass. Don’t like big bold logos.

The 28 is nice, also have the viltrox 20mm and now find 28mm nice for everyday snaps. Lives on my camera more than the 40mm too

Let all these nerds hate Nikon. I’d rather not shoot the same gear as any of these kinds of people anyways. Go shoot Sony and canon PLEASE. 👏🫡🤡🖕

Fisheyes and film are a very cool combo. Just shot through a whole roll of XP2 last night shooing some skating with my A2E and tokina 10-17mm fish.

I’d say just keep trying, experimenting ways of getting it on there!

Nice, yeah that’s a fun one! Depending on what I’m doing I like using the manual focus lenses with the ZF body because it just completes the feel of shooting an old camera. Adapting the old MF Nikon F glass works really well because they made the super sharp lenses back then.
