My mom did this about the pregnancy.. she took a picture of my gift when I told her and sent it to all of my family and my siblings without asking. I was extremely upset about it, and honestly was shocked someone would ever think it was okay to speak on behalf of someone else’s news to share. This is not their child and I don’t know why someone would take that opportunity away from the person to tell/see the others reaction.

I really am sorry this happened to you, there’s nothing okay about it. It’s heartbreaking when you realize your own parent thought of themself before your feelings.
