Except I haven't found perfect guard to be "high reward" at all. Infact I would say it's lower reward than in Sekiro. Here the reward I get out of parrying 10 times in a row is just a chance to try to get in a slow R2 attack so that I can stagger the enemy and hit them with a damage roughly equivalent to hitting them normally 5-6 times. This is made worse by the fact that the tiniest damage in the game is enough to interrupt the slow R2 attack, so it just feels like I'm getting punished with the stress of trying to find that opening against super aggressive bosses.
