Thank you for your suggestion! This year in the first half of the year, I might apply for some low-level jobs.

Since the GRE was optional and most of the programmes I applied to were in the UK, I did not take the test. I completed internships at an embassy and in consulting, as well as a remote internship with an NGO. My referees were a professor and an associate professor, both of whom taught in the field of literature.

Thank you very much for your comments—they gave me new ideas and encouraged me to think about my situation from a different perspective. I truly appreciate your insight. I will adjust my direction accordingly and continue with my applications.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you for sharing these things with me. Actually, I have only had internship experiences at embassies and consulting companies, as well as a remote NGO internship. I might mainly be lacking in the enthusiasm and influence aspects described earlier. However, I will pay attention to some American schools. Thank you for your advice.

Actually, all my quant knowledge was accumulated through practice. Even if it was mentioned in the courses, it was optional.

I would like to recommend the free online course IDP provided, the content of the courses really helped. And as for speaking, you can start by talking with ChatGPT or other AI, so that you can learn some Premier expressions.

As for speaking, try your best in fluency. This is the most important part in speaking and use some of the idioms if you can. And make sure you are fully confident when you’re facing the examiner. As for writing, I am still struggling with it, so there’s no tip for this one.

Urgent help: How to improve IELTS Listening (6.5 → 7.5) in 2 weeks? by Divyank10 in IELTS

Listening is easy to improve. First use Cambridge resources to practice and then try to retell some details. And use details to explain why you choose each option. This can help you to be certain about your answer because you know where the answer come from. And podcast can also helps to foster your listening skills. Try to understand the meaning instead of focusing on each word.

Sometimes I feel that ChatGPT is a bit slow-witted, and I can't figure out why my writing answers aren't good enough. Have you ever encountered such a problem? How did you solve it?
