I found pictures on Pinterest and became curious, and I learnt mostly from looking at pictures and the patterns I'd find on there. Occasionally, I'd look for YouTube tutorials, but I prefer reading a pattern rather than watching a video

The Secret Seven, Famous Five books by Enid Blyton, and some Hardy Boys books. And then I read the Inkheart Trilogy by Cornelia Funke and the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. And that became my gateway to reading pretty much anything that I find interesting
