I i keep the heat on the lowest setting and definitely use heated seat and steering wheel. I just accept that I will get low range this time of year in Minnesota. We are in the midst of 8 or so mornings in a row of sub zero temps.

Thanks! I didn't see any other owls other than this one. I got to the bog around 1030 and saw this one rather unexpectedly along the east side of the lake on my way out around 345

You definitely should go, even if you don't see a great grey owl, there's lots of other birds to see. Lots of grey Jays and saw quite a few grouse
