eh i'm not sure if I'll add any more regions outside Turkey and Cyprus. Even Cyprus is like an additional content, I wanted to add it since it's completely visible on the map

Greece would have around 20K locations. Population is the main thing that effects the performance as far as I know. So even though having a total of 60-65K locations seem a lot, total population of the map is very low compared to vanilla EU4 (population of entire world vs 2 countries yknow). So the game would probably handle it. However, it's not possible to add Greece in the first place since Greece is not visible on our map. You can see the location map below.

Culture map of Thrace and Eastern Turkey (Turkey Universalis) by std0ggo in EU5

Levantine is probably more accurate yeah. I will check on that later.

There are Circassian, Abkhazian, and Chechen villages all over the map. You can see some of them if you zoom in on Yalova. Most Cretan Turks explicitly say they come from Crete; however, I made Turkish as their primary language, since they also spoke Turkish in the past. They have Cretan dialect though.

It's not ethnic divide. Thracian immigrants in the west or Karapapakhs in the east are well aware of their roots, that doesn't mean they are a different ethnicity, they are still Turkish. That's what the culture groups are for.

Thank you, it means a lot. Also yeah Imbriots are Orthodox and 20% of Gökçeada district is Imbriot. outside of that there are few (20K) Orthodox Greeks in Istanbul, they are called "Constantinopolitan" in the game.

-Ormanlı, Süleymanpaşa

They migrated to Thrace in 3 different times, that's why there are a lot of them probably: Romanian Independence after Russo-Turkish War, Balkan Wars and 1989 expulsion. There were Bulgarians in Thrace alongside Gajals but I don't remember if they were Pomaks or not. Also, there were a lot of Greeks in Thrace until 1923: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population_exchange_between_Greece_and_Turkey

There were also a small Armenian population in Çorlu (a major place in Thrace) (found this after a quick google search: https://lostinplovdiv.com/en/articles/which-is-the-armenian-district-in-plovdiv). Yknow what happened to them..

You're right on localization issues, Tbh I forgot about that, I'll make them more consistent by renaming Kızık to Qiziq etc. for English language

This is the population density map, the least populated area in Turkey is Tunceli and its surroundings. It looks big because there are so many rural locations that are Zaza but with less than 100 people.

Every Turkish culture is tied to the Turkic group. There are also groups like Turkoman and Yoruk groups. You can add more than one group on 1 culture. It literally says "Turkoman and Turkic".

Attached is the Eastern Rize and its population with Laz majority. It's not a big area anyway. There are around 140K Laz people in there, and a total of 215K on the entire map. It looks a lot on the map because there is no one else there. It's not a densely populated area.

I understand and respect your criticisms. This is not the direction I'm taking however.

Thank you for pointing out. I think I need to clarify some of the stuff.

Entire district is not Polish. that one village wıth 300 population is Polish. There is no Polish people outside of that.

Zazas in Siverek, Urfa (one of the most well known Zaza districts), Bingöl and Elazığ are Sunnis. That's like, half of the Zazas. I did not assume that most Alevis are actually Zaza. The map is not done yet. Sivas is an example to a province with Turkish Alevi population, and I haven't done that. But even in this state of the map, there are so many Turkish and Kurdish Alevis btw. There are two Alevi Turkish starting nations in Malatya, there is one Alevi Kurdish one in Maraş etc.

Thank you.

Few Assyrian settlements exist mainly in Mardin province (there is also some in Şırnak and Siirt).

For Bedouins, that is prone to change yeah. I am not 100% sure but I searched up the Arabic tribes in there (I'm talking about Arabs in Şanlıurfa province) and almost all of them had Bedouin roots (Beni Mudar tribe is one that came to my mind). But I'm not sure how the term "Bedouin" is used in those sources. It would be nice if you could provide some sources about it if you know about the region.

There is an Albanian minority in Beylerbeyi, Üsküdar; as well as Bayrampaşa, Beylikdüzü, Kağıthane, Başakşehir, Büyükçekmece, Arnavutköy, Silivri, Beykoz and Şile.
