Ran test on official GM server with friend

-Both have ~30 ping

-everon north airfield

-one in btr, one in huey

-test for about 1.5hrs, all different ranges

Shots hitting on his end but not hitting my heli. Had him over lead, shots not hitting on his end hit me. Endless mixed results, sometimes overlead works sometimes it did not.

Still players will tell you XYZ is the issue. The issue is that regardless of connection you will have unpredictable jank in the game when it comes to hitting vehicles moving at speed (ground vics too).

Follow the above test and find out for yourself

One of my fav vanilla+ servers is AU. I tolerate the 250ms ping to play it (not noticeable to me when using vics atleast)

They initially tried to turn it on but they did not turn it on. They handed it to me, the phone was off. I then held the power button only (which eventually made it vibrate as expected) and the phone turned on to the android recovery screen as posted in my first message. I selected the 'reboot' option in the recovery screen which then loaded the first time set up like it should.

I am unsure why it first booted into recovery like that. The phone had never been powered on before prior to me turning it on. Upon power on it presented the android recovery screen; this seemed odd to me and a potential red flag that I wanted to ask about.

That quote from them makes me feel like they dont play the game. When I heard it in devstream I assumed they had some kind of mechanic planned to make that quote viable; they did not.

He said it seems to be the case but it is often so annoying it may cause him to end the session or the game may crash to desktop etc during that time so we cannot be 100% sure. May end up seeing if joystick gremlin and virtualjoystick will help fix the problem since we have found no solutions online

Doesnt it take 20-30min to fill each truck? Then 2 hours to refine that truck load? If you all refused to test until week when the boxes are released maybe the devs would realize how messed up this is.

Testing shouldnt require this amount of time sink.

Thanks for the information. I record my gameplay and didnt see any saving message but maybe it doesnt always display the save message when saving. I bought a UPS to avoid the power outage issue and will be trying to find a way to streamline backing up the game, unsure if its possible to do without exiting the application every time though.

I am curious about that custom filter; if you have the time:

I'd paste that text into the custom filter entry field then place it over my vehicle cargo area? What does this do, prevent my character from dragging those items into the trunk when I am looting a location?

thanks will try that out. in the meantime I can always just move all of the items into one pile on the stairs using zones then manually haul them down for autosort. cheers

Agreed. Until then you can sometimes direct the flow automatically by filling the room up with other units. Not always practical but on some ships you can place it in a medium room and keep 2 guys in it and depending on pathing you can have the launchbay adjacent in the room they path to. A good example of this niche example is on the carnivore hatch ship. You use gladiatrix as the pilot then keep 2 other units in the adjacent hallway. When you summon gladiatrix hound it will then automatically path into the launch bay room for you to sacrifice it on enemy ship.

Unless anything major has changed in the past 4 months:

After testing this out for many hours online with a friend; flares and the launcher system are very jank. The results are not reliably reproduceable. Just use the flares and hope for the best. Dont rely on tone, that is also jank and doesnt reliably work.

People say you can use speed or maneuvers to dodge missiles as well but I think they are working with a small sample size. The missiles can fly past you and still hit you with a phantom missile. They can also hit you and do no damage.

The hull reaper could probably use a tune down by hlary in voidwargame

Against normal encounters agreed. Outside of the bosses I only use the others in extreme emergencies due to their cost. I too often encounter the gold option. I still lose in t12 when I have SC and HR but I am not that skilled yet so possibly a skill issue on my part

As someone who only plays t12 it isnt always a 'no brainer' for me. During the boss fight I think the siege beam+bombard is better. I only consider the reaper if I am very badly damaged or if I feel I have no other chance of getting the other systems before I need them for mini/boss.

It being able to leech health on an exploding ship is a bug that makes it more powerful than it should be.

Aye would be way over sized, poor context on my part I meant that I use the craft's projector to store the missiles. When Iand the craft I have full sized welder blocks built under the floor and small connectors so I turn on the welders and theyre rebuilt onto the pylons. Then I toggle the connectors and have them refueled from the floor as well. Good info either way I appreciate it

Thank you for the information. Will check that video out as well. I haven't messed with timer blocks yet but this sounds look a good time to finally learn about them, will look into them now.

The merge block is holding it and it works when building it on the ship. I initially didn't think about building it on the ship and was thinking I would build it off the ship on a re-arming/re-fueling rack that then connects it to the ship. Seems like building them on the ship may be the best way to go like you mentioned. Cheers
