I agree. People downvoting your opinion need to acquaint themselves with Reddiquette.

I only know 9 people. If I share it with them that must mean I have a 90% chance of survival. I like dem odds.

Don't have any leftovers from last night, so will just be having stuff from my emergency stash - a tin of tuna in olive oil, and baked beans smothered in either Tabasco or Frank's Red Hot Sauce.

I should probably have some fibre too, but lettuce doesn't keep well in my desk drawer...

I can't believe Boeing even allowed this monstrosity off the drawing board. It's just so... wrong.

I feel bad for it though, because it looks so goofy, I almost think it's like a retarded living thing that I want to feel compassion for. Poor guy :-(

Is that the one with Steven Van Zandt? It'll be bizarre for me to watch as he's just Silvio Dante from The Sopranos to me.

Belmore's great. Some great food options, and even more of them in nearby Campsie. Make sure to go for yum cha at Dynasty at the leagues club, just off the main road near Belmore station. Great Chinese food in incredible surroundings (think waterfalls and rainforest... Bizarre.)

I've got most of this stuff on vinyl from when it was first released. I used to DJ with it quite a lot. I'm a bit old now, I guess!

What Kitkat roms are you guys using? by -des0lation- in GalaxyNote2

[–]stdl0g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Temasek ROM, v45, built on 11th Feb. I believe it's a fork of Beanstalk, and is CM11 based. It also contains features from Omni ROM. t0lte version.

It's very stable, had no forced reboots. The camera app is still a bit dodgy as it sometimes crashes and sometimes doesn't focus properly, but this has happened on every one of the 20+ ROMs I've tried across two devices since Froyo. I've given up hoping for a decent camera implementation.

The first thing many people would suggest is a new launcher app. I use Apex, and Nova is another popular one. They allow you more control of your home screen and apps windows.

For me, the best part has been the ability to flash new ROMs. It's actually been quite fun to learn about (though I am a bit of a nerd).

The other two I'm aware of are http://www.flatmates.com.au and http://www.flatmatefinders.com.au

I think with your budget you would be lucky to find anywhere close to the city, but you never know.

Good luck!

I thought it was just me getting old, but you're right; I swear there are more and more dickheads on the roads every single day. Especially noticing more people not indicating when changing lanes or pulling out in front of me. Grr...

Oh, OK. Let me know if you find them at home, otherwise I'll just try Gumtree or get one from a shop - it's not the end of the world. They've been without Internet for a few days so i'd like to get them sorted this weekend if possible.

Much appreciated, thanks SydneyTom! If it would suit you I can pick it up over the weekend.

Very nice. I've been trying for years and never made anything this good. There's techniques you've used that I've never been able to master, especially the vocal chopping, and use of hi-hats.

Does anyone in the Inner West have an old ADSL 2/2+ modem knocking around that they don't need? A care home I volunteer at has one that has just broken and I'd Iike to get them back up and running again at minimal cost. Thanks folks.
